For those staying close to home, enjoy the breathtaking winter views of the Catskill Forest Preserve from the dining room, kitchen, South Bedroom, and the bluff. Catskill Creek, accessible via a scramble down the bluff, runs through the property and is perfect for fishing with the required permit.
Built in 1969 by a local art teacher, Bluff House has been lovingly preserved to maintain its midcentury character. The furniture includes original pieces and custom designs created by the owner, a furniture maker. This home offers a unique opportunity to experience an authentic midcentury aesthetic.
Bluff House welcomes all guests and is dog-friendly, provided your pet respects local wildlife. Most of the house is on one floor, with ramp access. Please contact us if you use a wheelchair to discuss suitability. The house is not child-proofed, so we recommend it for children aged 6 and older.
